HOW TO FIND FOREIGN COLLABORATORS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NATIONAL COLD CHAIN ​​INDUSTRY

The cross-country and cross-ocean food supply chain has become a future trending topic in providing proper equipment and technology with measured exploration of natural resources and empowering human resource capabilities. The cold chain platform used with the support of standardization and regulation will fully contribute to national food security and resilience. This has been explained in detail and comprehensively by ARPI at the International Korea Cold Chain Expo event at the Kintex Expo Building, Seoul Korea, on April 22-25, 2025.

ARPI as the main speaker explained about the national mapping of refrigerated warehouse facilities, mapping of potential fishing areas with cold chain facilities, current refrigeration technology that is required not to damage the ozone layer (environmentally friendly), business potential with digitalization technology and a proper cold chain system to answer the challenges of safe shipping between islands with a sea shipping time of more than 3 hours, cold chain standardization, and the national food security program, comprehensively. One potential member of ARPI, MGM Bosco, also added that in the future, the Indonesian third party logistics industry will continue to grow as an effort by national logistics players to support the independence of managing the delivery and cold storage of food, beverages, pharmaceuticals and medicines as well as other raw materials.

At this very useful exhibition, various advanced Korean cold chain technologies are presented: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Fast food delivery through dense traffic areas, electric vehicles for cold product delivery, refrigerated logistics automation system, product loading and unloading automation, high-quality insulation panels extending service life, energy-saving long-distance inter-island delivery with the use of passive refrigerants, digitalization systems that are applicable to all points of the cold chain miles. This exhibition also presents the reliability of the cold chain system for pharmaceutical products, some of which require temperatures above -60 degrees Celsius. On this occasion, the ARPI team (with several members: 3PL, contractor & panel insulation, and PCM’s manufacture), had the opportunity to see up close the sophisticated infrastructure provided by the new Pyongtaek Seaport, the sophisticated manufacturing of Phase Change Material (PCM) products as passive refrigerants (manufactured by Energy Solution Technology Ltd, Corp, and the sophisticated utilization of Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) energy sources, Superfreeze, near the Pyongtaek Port area. With the presence of these three cold chain providers, Korea can answer the right solution for its national food security where food losses can be overcome well in various miles of the cold chain. Quite a number of Korean cold chain industries are interested after visiting the ARPI booth and attending and listening to ARPI’s presentation at the cold chain seminar, to become speakers or audience-participants at this year’s ARPI grand event, at the Indonesia Cold Chain Infrastructure Summit and All Indonesia Cooltech expo 2025.

BAGAIMANA MENCARI KOLABORATOR LUAR NEGERI UNTUK PEMBANGUNAN INDUSTRI RANTAI DINGIN NASIONAL

Rantai pasokan makanan lintas negara dan lintas Samudra telah menjadi topik tren kedepan di dalam menyediakan peralatan dan teknologi yang proper dengan eksplorasi terukur sumberdaya alam dan memberdayakan kemampuan sumberdaya manusia. Platform rantai dingin yang digunakan dengan dukungan standardisasi dan regulasi akan menyumbang penuh terhadap ketahanan dan keamanan pangan nasional. Hal ini telah dijelaskan dengan detail dan komprehensif oleh ARPI pada event International Korea Cold Chain Expo di Gedung Kintex Ekspo, Seoul Korea, pada 22 sampai 25 April 2025 lalu.

ARPI sebagai pembicara utama menjelaskan tentang pemetaan nasional fasilitas Gudang berpendingin, pemetaan potensi area penangkapan ikan dengan fasilitas rantai dinginnya, teknologi refrigerasi kekinian yang dituntut untuk tidak merusakkan lapisan ozon (ramah lingkungan), potensi bisnis dengan teknologi digitalisasi dan sistem rantai dingin yang proper untuk menjawab tantangan pengiriman aman antar pulau dengan waktu tempuh pengiriman laut lebih dari 3 jam, standardisasi rantai dingin, dan program ketahanan pangan nasional, secara komprehensif. Satu anggota potensi ARPI, MGM Bosco, juga menambahkan bahwa kedepan industri third party logistics Indonesia akan terus meningkat sebagai effort pemain logistik nasional di dalam mendukung kemandirian pengelolaan pengiriman dan penyimpanan dingin makanan, minuman, farmasi dan obat-obatan serta bahan baku lainnya.

Pada pameran yang sangat bermanfaat ini, disajikan berbagai teknologi rantai dingin ala Korea yang mumpuni : Artificial Intelligence (AI), Pengiriman cepat makanan menembus area padat lalu lintas, kendaraan listrik untuk pengiriman produk dingin, sistem otomasi logistik berpendingin, otomasi bongkar muat produk, kualitas tinggi panel insulasi memperpanjang masa pakai, hemat energi pengiriman jarak jauh antar pulau dengan penggunaan refrigerant pasif, sistem digitalisasi yang aplikatif untuk semua titik miles dari rantai dingin. Pameran ini juga menyajikan kehandalan sistem rantai dingin untuk produk farmasi yang beberapa membutuhkan suhu diatas dari – 60 derajat Celcius.

Dalam kesempatan ini, tim ARPI (dengan beberapa anggota, 3PL, kontraktor & panel dan PCM manufaktur), berkesempatan melihat dari dekat kecanggihan infrastruktur yang disediakan oleh Pelabuhan laut baru Pyongtaek, kecanggihan pembuatan produk Phase Change Material (PCM) sebagai refigeran pasif (manufaktur Energy Solution Tachnology Ltd, Corp, dan kecanggihan pemanfaatan sumber enargi Liquid Natural Gas (LNG), Superfreeze, dekat area Pelabuhan Pyongtaek. Dengan kehadiran ketiga penyedia rantai dingin ini, Korea dapat menjawab Solusi tepat untuk ketahanan pangan nasionalnya dimana susut pangan dapat teratasi baik di berbagai miles rantai dingin.     

Cukup banyak industri rantai dingin Korea tertarik setalah mengunjungi booth ARPI dan hadir dan mendengarkan presentasi ARPI pada seminar rantai dingin, untuk menjadi pembicara ataupun audiensi-peserta pada acara akbar ARPI tahun ini, di Indonesia Cold Chain Infrastructure Summit dan All Indonesia Cooltech expo 2025.
