Cool Package Delivery (Knowledge Sharing) / Pengiriman Paket Dingin (Berbagi Pengetahuan)

COOL PACKAGE DELIVERY

It is not easy to carry out operational procedures in shipping packages that require temperature control, such as frozen food or other perishable products that are sensitive to temperature changes. The parties involved in providing shipping services must understand the temperature range that will affect changes in the chemical and physical characteristics of the product being sent. By paying attention to financial and management capabilities, these parties can be as single players or collaborate with third parties.

Technical committee 55-02, whose members are ARPI (Indonesian Cold Chain Association), BSN (National Standardization Board) , Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Fisheries, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Transportation, KAI Logistics, GAPMMI (Indonesian Food & Beverages Business Association), and shipping and transportation service providers, will hold “Sharing Knowledge – Cool Package Delivery, on June 12 2024 at New Priok Container Terminal One (NPCT – 1) Seaport. Apart from sharing knowledge, this event was equipped with a tour around the port to see the facilities that have the largest and well-managed plug-in thermal reefer container system. The National Standard of cool package delivery has been made by adopted ISO 23412.

This event was held in collaboration between ARPI and BSN, and is fully supported by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Fisheries, Ministry of Transportation, Professional certification bodies (LSP) TuffNORD, Yamato Transport Corp, NPCT-1 and ARPI Members in Delivery Service Providers
