BSN SAMBUT KUNJUNGAN CHAIR ISO/TC 315, BAHAS ISO 23412 DAN PENGEMBANGAN LOGISTIK RANTAI DINGIN

Badan Standardisasi Nasional (BSN) menerima kunjungan Chair ISO/TC 315 Cold Chain Logistic, Katsuhiko Umetsu di kantor BSN, Jakarta, pada 19 Desmber 2024. Kunjungan ini bertujuan berbagi informasi dan bertukar pendapat terkait ISO 23412, Indirect Temperature-Controlled Refrigerated Delivery Services – Land Transport of parcels with Intermediate Transfer. Standar ini penting dalam pengaturan layanan pengiriman berpendingin untuk barang yang sensitive terhadap suhu seperti makanan.

Indonesia yang menjadi participating member (P-member) dalam ISO/TC 315 telah mengadopsi ISO 23412:2020 sebagai SNI ISO 23412 secara identic. Standar ini menetapkan persyaratan penyediaan dan pengoperasian layanan pengiriman berpendingin tidak langsung, mulai dari penerimaan hingga pengiriman paket ke Lokasi tujuan. Termasuk dalam cakupan standar ini adalah pengelolaan transfer antar kendaraan berpendingin dan sistem perutean geografis, kecuali untuk moda transportasi pesawat, kapal dan kereta api. ISO 23412 bertujuan untuk memastikan keselamatan konsumen melalui control total rantai dingin.

Dalam pertemuan tersebut dibahas status penerapan standar ISO 23412 di negara-negara anggota ISO/TC 315 salah satunya adalah Indonesia. Di Indonesia telah terdapat 1 pelaku usaha yang akan menerapkan SNI ISO 23412:2020. Dalam hal ini BSN juga telah menunjuk Lembaga Sertifikasi Produk untuk melakukan penilaian kesesuaian sesuai SNI ISO 23412. Selain itu juga dibahas pendapat dan umpan balik terkait ISO 23412, serta saran untuk reviu sistematis yang akan direncanakan pada tahun 2025 mendatang. Hal ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan logistik berpendingin dan memastikan relevansi standar dengan kebutuhan pasar global.

Direktur Pengembangan Standar Mekanika, Energi, Infrastruktur, dan Teknologi Informasi BSN, Iryana Margahayu, menyatakan dukungan penuh Indonesia terhadap rencana reviu sistematis ISO 23412.

“BSN siap mendukung reviu sistematis ISO 23412 karena standar ini sejalan dengan Program Presiden Indonesia, terutama dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan nasional. Kami akan terus mendorong pengembangan standar-standar yang strategis untuk memajukan logistik rantai dingin di Indonesia,” ujar Iryana.

Pertemuan ini dihadiri oleh berbagai pihak terkait, termasuk salah satu Lembaga sertifikasi di Jepang, Tim Kerja Pengembangan Standar Mekanika dan Material BSN, Tim Kerja Pengelolaan ISO dan SMIC BSN, Ketua Komite Teknis 55-02 Logistik Rantai Pasok dan Distribusi Dingin, Hasanuddin Yasni, Perwakilan Lembaga penilaian kesesuaian, serta industri rantai pasok dan distribusi dingin.

Melalui kegiatan ini, Indonesia diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan strategis untuk reviu sistematis standar ISO 23412, guna memastikan bahwa layanan logistik rantai dingin terus berkembang dan mendukung kebutuhan Masyarakat serta industri (sumber: BSN berita website).

BSN WELCOME TO ISO/TC 315 CHAIR VISIT, DISCUSS ISO 23412 AND COLD CHAIN ​​LOGISTICS DEVELOPMENT

The National Standardization Agency (BSN) received a visit from the Chair of ISO/TC 315 Cold Chain Logistics, Katsuhiko Umetsu at the BSN office, Jakarta, on 19 December 2024. This visit aims to share information and exchange opinions regarding ISO 23412, Indirect Temperature-Controlled Refrigerated Delivery Services – Land Transport of parcels with Intermediate Transfer. This standard is important in setting up refrigerated delivery services for temperature sensitive goods such as food.

Indonesia, which is a participating member (P-member) in ISO/TC 315, has adopted ISO 23412:2020 as SNI ISO 23412 identically. This standard specifies the requirements for the provision and operation of indirect refrigerated delivery services, from receipt to delivery of packages to the destination Location. Included in the scope of this standard is the management of transfers between refrigerated vehicles and geographic routing systems, except for aircraft, ships and trains. ISO 23412 aims to ensure consumer safety through total cold chain control.

During the meeting, the status of implementing the ISO 23412 standard in ISO/TC 315 member countries, one of which was Indonesia, was discussed. In Indonesia, there is 1 business actor who will implement SNI ISO 23412:2020. In this case, BSN has also appointed a Product Certification Institute to carry out a conformity assessment according to SNI ISO 23412. Apart from that, opinions and feedback regarding ISO 23412 were also discussed, as well as suggestions for a systematic review which will be planned in 2025. It aims to improve the quality of refrigerated logistics services and ensure the relevance of standards to global market needs.

BSN’s Director of Standards Development for Mechanics, Energy, Infrastructure and Information Technology, Iryana Margahayu, expressed Indonesia’s full support for the ISO 23412 systematic review plan.

“BSN is ready to support the systematic review of ISO 23412 because this standard is in line with the Indonesian President’s Program, especially in supporting national food security. “We will continue to encourage the development of strategic standards to advance cold chain logistics in Indonesia,” said Iryana.

This meeting was attended by various related parties, including one of the certification bodies in Japan, the BSN Mechanics and Materials Standards Development Working Team, the BSN ISO and SMIC Management Working Team, Chair of Technical Committee 55-02 Cold Logistic of Supply Chain and Distribution, Hasanuddin Yasni, Representative Conformity assessment institutions, as well as the cold supply chain and distribution industry.
