RI MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY SUPPORT THE COLD CHAIN COMPONENT TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT

RI Ministry of Industry has held Forum Group Discussion Workshop ‘The Development of Cold Chain Component Technology Regarding to Maintain Seafood and Agriculture Products Quality’ last week.

The workshop discussed about the competency of the local manufacture of sandwich panel. With their capabilities, the istalation of cold storage will be more competitive if the government regulation can support the local industry’s needs. Beside sandwich panel, the local manufacture of condensing & evaporating unit also can provide the demands.

Regarding to supply the increasing market demand and also the updating technology, ARPI submit some points to the Ministry:
1. Make a certificate of worker competency (SKKNI), collaborate with field institutions.
2. Tax allowence from government.
3. National Standard of sandwich panel as the first and continue to condensing & evaporating unit

The FGD workshop attended by 60 ARPI national members (principal of compressor manufacture, sandwich panel and condensing-evaporating unit manufacture, cold chain contractor, cold transportation manufacture, food industry and cold chain consultant).
