GCCA Opened Dialogue With Indonesia Cold Chain Industries
Supported by Danfoss Industries Pte Ltd, GCCA met some big players of Indonesia cold chain industries on October 16. Refrigerated transportation, retailers, manufactures, 3 PL (cold logistics), food processors, and distributors shared all national challenges to develop cold chain system. Amanda Brondy as a Director of International Projects of GCCA, together with Greg Laurin from Conestoga Cold Storage and Marc Dizon from Koldstor Centre Philippines, Inc, talked how to answer those challenges.
ARPI members (PT. Danfoss Indonesia, PT. MGM Bosco, PT. Prima Cold Chain, PT. Istana Cipta Sembada, PT. Guna Pratama, Cikarang Dry Port, PT. QL Trimitra, Lotus Food Distribution, PT. Pangan Lestari, PT. Supra Boga Lestari / Ranch Market, and Udayana University) explained the current situation and hope to get a good solution. Based on those explainations, some plans like education, ToT training, standardization, etc will make together.
Before and after the meeting agenda, GCCA also discussed with ARPI BOE and BOT and surveyed to local good cold chain industry, i.e: PT. Alpine Cool Utama (continues line of sandwich panel and condensing-evaporator unit), PT. Adib Cold Logistics (3PL & refrigerated transportation), PT. Pangan Lestari (food industry and 3PL), Cikarang Dry Port, and Ranch Market outlet.
The Complete Program of Indonesia – Philippines Cold Chain Project will be guided by GCCA.
