Cold Chain Conference to Offer Educational Opportunities for General Managers

The upcoming Cold Chain Conference will provide premier educational opportunities for warehouse general managers, operations and engineering teams, and graduates of the WFLO Institute. Starting on Monday, June 25 with a half-day of sessions, the Cold Chain Conference features much of the operations-focused education sessions previously held at the IARW-WFLO Convention. An Opening General Session starts the day with a keynote that will provide a high-level look at industry trends. Presentations follow, offering deep dives into specialized topics for GMs, operations, and engineering team members. Onboarding for Better Retention, Implementing E-Fulfillment, Food Safety, KPIs for the Cold Chain, and Becoming a Shipper of Choice are just some of the sessions already slated for the conference.

Cold Chain Roundtables will provide warehouse GMs an opportunity to network with peers from facilities located within their region. It’s an ideal forum for sharing best practices, exploring solutions to common challenges, and testing the waters with new ideas.

Attendees can then extend their learning into more technical, practical applications of innovative technologies with education directly on the Global Cold Chain Expo show floor Tuesday and Wednesday, June 26-27. Sessions will focus on topics including: Transforming Unused Storage Space into Revenue Power, How Science Impacts the Cold Chain, Finding broken cold chain links in the modern warehouse, and Analyzing Energy to Find Your Operation’s True Efficiency.

Opportunities are also available for WFLO Institute graduates to continue their education with the WFLO Graduate Institute, taking place June 24-27, also in Chicago.
