(DetikFinance.com), Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan Sakti Wahyu Trenggono menilai pelabuhan curah Krakatau International Port (KIP) di Cilegon, Banten, layak menjadi salah satu pusat logistik perikanan di Indonesia. Itu karena lokasi, kapasitas dan fasilitas yang ada di pelabuhan tersebut sangat mendukung.

“(Bagus) untuk (mendukung produktivitas) perikanan tangkap ini. Harus kita maksimalkan,” ujar Trenggono dalam keterangan tertulis, Kamis (19/8/2021). Hal ini dia ungkapkan saat meninjau KIP bersama sejumlah pejabat Eselon I Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP).

Krakatau International Port merupakan pelabuhan curah makanan dan padi-padian terbesar di kawasan ASEAN serta dry port kontainer produk manufaktur, kemasan, dan makanan olahan dengan sistem yang sudah terintegrasi dari layanan upstream hingga downstream. Oleh karena itu mampu menampung dan memfasilitasi ekosistem pendaratan logistik, hingga penyimpanan dan kegiatan distribusi.

Diketahui, pelabuhan dengan panjang 3,5 km tersebut memiliki 17 dermaga yang juga dilengkapi conveyor, gantry grab ship unloader, hingga gudang terintegrasi. PT KBS memplot Dermaga 4 menjadi kawasan pelayanan cold storage yang salah satunya untuk menyimpan ikan hasil tangkapan maupun budidaya dalam kawasan pusat logistik berikat untuk distribusi dalam negeri maupun kegiatan ekspor dan ekspor.

Pemilihan Dermaga 4 itu disebabkan karena lokasinya strategis, memiliki jalur kereta api, dekat dengan jalan tol, pusat logistik berikat dan depo serta dryport. Kedalaman perairan Dermaga 4 juga memadai untuk berlabuhnya kapal ukuran besar, yakni mencapai 8 meter.

“Harapannya bisa menjadi simpul logistik produk curah dan olahannya untuk kebutuhan di Pulau Jawa,” ujar Direktur Utama PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera Akbar Djohan.

Dia menuturkan pengembangan sistem rantai dingin (cold chain) di KIP lantaran teknik pengawetan produk perikanan akan menjadi lebih baik dan dapat meningkatkan daya saing transportasi.

Sedangkan dari sisi manfaat, sistem rantai dingin akan berkontribusi pada peningkatan Penerimaan Negara Bukan Pajak (PNBP) bagi negara, peningkatan volume perikanan tangkap dan budidaya dalam negeri, serta mendorong peningkatan kesejahteraan nelayan lantaran hasil produksinya terserap lebih stabil.

Disamping itu, kata dia, jangkauan kargo yang dibawa menjadi lebih luas sebab KIP berada di jalur pelayaran Alur Laut Kepulauan Indonesia (ALKI) 1 dan penghubung jalur pelayaran Selat Malaka serta lintas tol laut yang selama ini ramai dilintasi kapal-kapal kargo dari dalam maupun luar negeri.

“KIP juga aktif mencari mitra bisnis termasuk dengan skema KPBU untuk pengembangan bisnis transhipment, perawatan kapal (MRO), unit pengolahan ikan bahkan sampai bursa ikan”, pungkasnya.

Sementara itu, sehari sebelumnya, tim ARPI sudah bertemu bisnis dengan pihak KIP. Dalam diskusi yang cukup detail, Direktur Utama, Akbar Djohan memberikan penjelasan rencana kedepan pengadaan fasilitas cold chain. Dilanjutkan dengan melihat sarana, prasarana dan peta pelabuhan, Ketua Umum ARPI, Hasanuddin Yasni, menjelaskan peluang-peluang bisnis yang perlu dikembangkan, melihat kestrategisan lokasi pelabuhan yang menghubungkan pulau Sumatra dan pulau Jawa tersebut.
